Pet & Animal Policy

We use a third-party service, PetScreening, to ensure all applicants understand how to adhere to the property's pet and animal policies, even if you do not have a pet or animal. All applicants should complete a Pet, No Pet, or Animal Profile.

All applicants are required to fill out a pet/animal application, even if you do not have a pet or animal. Pets and Animals are defined as any non-human living creature. There is an option on the application to select that you don’t have any pets or animals, but we must have this application filled out by EVERYONE in order to have your statement on the record regarding whether you do or don’t have pets or animals.

Pet Fees:

If you have a pet, you will be required to pay a one-time non-refundable Pet Fee per pet upon move-in. In addition, you will be required to pay a monthly pet rent amount per pet. The amount of the pet fee and pet rent is determined based upon the “Paw Score” that Petscreening.com assigns to your pet. This score is determined using a proprietary formula that takes into account things like pet age, weight, vaccination records, etc. Certain species, such as small lizards, turtles, and fish in aquariums 5 gallons or less, may be exempt from the monthly pet rent, at the sole discretion of the landlord. The Pet Fee per pet is $250. Below is a table of Pet Rent per month.

Regardless of “Paw Score” we have a 1 pet maximum and do require that all pets are over 6 months of age, current on vaccinations, and spayed/neutered.

Breeds not accepted for Insurance Issues:

Pit Bull Terriers, Staffordshire Terriers, Rottweilers, German Shepherds, Presa Canarios, Chow Chows, Doberman Pinschers, Akitas, Wolf-hybrids, Mastiffs, Cane Corsos, Great Danes, Alaskan Malamutes, and Siberian Huskies.
